About Community Abundance

Origin Story

I’m Lauryl Johnson, the founder of Community Abundance. With a background in product leadership and a lifelong passion for connection, I’ve spent my career asking “Why?”—uncovering root causes of collaboration breakdowns and designing spaces where every voice is heard. Guided by my core strengths in empathetic connection, insatiable curiosity, adaptive resilience, community cultivation, and positive encouragement, I believe that leadership isn’t a title but a practice we all share. When I’m not coaching teams or hosting “Why?” huddles, you’ll find me tending to meaningful rituals with my partner and family—because cultivating trust at home fuels my work in the wider world.

Our Vision: A world where decision-making is distributed, curiosity is celebrated, and every community thrives through compassionate inquiry. We see empowered networks of leaders—whether in boardrooms or living rooms—tackling big challenges together, with trust and mutual support as their foundation.

Our Mission: We equip individuals and organizations with simple, repeatable practices—micro-rituals, guided frameworks, and peer-led pods—that foster collaborative leadership and collective impact. By nurturing a culture of inquiry, empathy, and lifelong learning, we help communities unlock their potential and drive change from the ground up.

Empowering communities through repeatable practices that spark trust, collaboration, and lasting change.
